Based in the heart of Wylam, Northumberland, The Head Shack is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered in March 2025. Our historic building at 59 Woodcroft Road serves as a welcoming hub for adults seeking support on their recovery journey.
We believe that everyone deserves compassionate support, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Our trauma-informed approach ensures that all services are delivered with understanding, respect, and a commitment to preventing re-traumatization.
Led by our dedicated trustees—Jonathan Peter Joures (Chair), Paul Hanson, and Dr. Stephen Westgarth—we work tirelessly to create a safe space where healing and growth can flourish.
